Caring For Your Skin This Winter

As Winter draws near we turn on the central heating causing dry air, the weather is blustery, windy and cold. All these environmental influences can cause havoc with our skin. Drying the skin out, skin can become sore, itchy, irritated, and more sensitive.  Let’s avoid sad, itchy irritated skin and keep that summer glow! This is our skin care routine to keep your skin healthy throughout the Winter months.

1.       Cleanse – Use a gentle natural cleaner such as our Apricot Facial Soap. It is suitable for sensitive skin and is perfect for daily skin cleansing, removing daily build up, and excess oils from the skin. It is packed full of fairly traded oils such as apricot, shea and olive, which nourish and tailor to the needs of dry skin.

2.       Exfoliate – Remove any unwanted dead skin with the Apricot Facial Scrub. The well-balanced light texture of Fairtrade apricot kernel oil and green tea helps to gently exfoliates the skin and remove impurities. It leaves the skin feeling extraordinarily soft, smooth and radiant.

3.       Hydrate – Treat your skin to the Apricot Skincare Oil which contains fairly traded apricot kernel oil, argan and coconut oil, this nourishing formulation moisturises the skin and leaves it smooth and soft. If your hands are really dry and cracked why not treat them to an intense hand treatment. Apply the hand cream to your hands and then pop on a pair of cotton gloves. Leave the gloves on for 30 minutes or they can be left on overnight for extra nourishment. When its time to remove the gloves, massage in the hand cream.
